Braids, both tight and loose, were the “IT” look for hair at Emilio Pucci and Viktor & Rolf on models like Alana Zimmer and Anna Selzneva. Luigi Murenu talked about how he created the undone braid at Viktor & Rolf. Straight hair was the look at Versace and Blumarine and Marni kept it natural thanks to hair stylist Paul Hanlon.
Next, for makeup, fresh and young took precedence at Prada thanks to Pat McGrath, who also did the luxurious, but minimal makeup for Versace. Light pinks all over were prominent at No 21 and fresh creams on models like Candice Swanepoel at Elie Saab. Giambattista Valli’s makeup by Val Garland was tomboyish with a contour and Balmain showcased Tom Pecheaux’s stellar cosmetic looks including everything from thick mascara to lots of concealer on models like Carmen Kass and Constance Jablonski who make it look easy. Fendi and Dsquared2 go dramatic on the eyes, while Rick Owens focuses on the poppy lip.
