The heroine-chic model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley made her big-screen debut this summer in the box office sensation, Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011). Rosie may be seen on the pages of the Victoria’s Secret catalogue as an Angel or as the new face of Burberry’s Body Fragrance Fall/Winter 2011.

The 24-year-old has truly made her mark in the high fashion world in couture runway shows and ad campaigns. She has made herself a household name by playing the female lead, “Carly Spencer” opposite Shia LaBeouf in the newest installment of the Transformers series. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is certainly a model to watch as she graces the covers of Women’s Health, Maxim, Elle UK, and GQ this month.

Growing up in the countryside of Devon, England, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley dreamed of moving to London to begin her career in fashion. At the age of sixteen she began an internship at a modeling agency in London. In 2003 Rosie began appearing in ads for a variety of clothiers including Abercrombie & Fitch, DKNY, Bloomingdales, and Burberry. Her resume has become lengthy by appearing in print ads by designers such as Burberry, Karen Millen, Thomas Wylde, and Miss Sixty.












Rosie Huntington-Whiteley joined the ranks of supermodel legends Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Miranda Kerr as a Victoria’s Secret Angel after modeling for the company for three years. “Forget the Hells Angels…Rosie earned the world’s most prestigious set of wings courtesy of Victoria’s Secret in 2009.” (Maxim) The filming of a commercial for Victoria’s Secret with Transformers director Michael Bay led to her replacing Megan Fox as the heroine in the third movie. Candice Swanepoel is a South African model best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret. Candice Swanepoel was born in Mooi River, KwaZulu-Natal, and was discovered by a model scout in a Durban flea market at age 15. By age 16, Candice Swanepoel was earning approximately 5,000 Euros for a day’s work.

Candice’s resume includes covers for Greece Vogue, Elle Germany, and advertisements for Nike and Guess. Candice Swanepoel has also walked the runway for Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce & Gabbana, Betsey Johnson, Diane von Furstenberg and numerous other fashion designers.

Candice Swanepoel also started doing runway fashion shows for Victoria’s Secret in 2007 and continued modeling for Victoria’s Secret throughout 2008, 2009 and 2010. In addition to appearing in the Victoria’s Secret lingerie brand’s television commercials, Candice was a featured model in the 2010 “SWIM” catalog, along with Lindsay Ellingson and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. On August 12, 2010 Candice Swanepoel officially opened the first Victoria’s Secret retail store in Canada, at West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada.
